Generalized information about a salons daily performance, and organized metrics in an easy to read format.

Use Cases by Role

  • Salon Owner: Salon owners who would like to see a quick daily rundown of a salons performance can reference this report.
  • Salon Manager: Salon managers can use this report as a progress indicator that can be printed out and sent to upper management.
  • Salon Employee: Stylists and other salon staff can use this report to see how well they did for the day as far as sales performance goes.

Data Filters

  • Select Stores: Clicking or tapping here will open the interface that allows the user to select the store(s) that will be be used for the report.
  • Hourly work detail calculation: This drop down menu enables users to select between either "Servicing" (Default) or "Waiting" when calculating work details.
  • Enter a Date: Clicking or tapping into this field will generate a calendar interface for the user to select a single date for the purpose of the report.
  • Generate Report: Clicking or tapping on this button will generate the report based on the other filter criteria.

Metrics Tracked

Close Out Totals

  • This section in the upper left displays both the deposit total and any overages or underages associated with all payment methods. Totals are also included at the bottom row.

Summary

  • The next area of the report contains a detailed summary of revenue information in addition to employee hours for the given day. All of this revenue is then tallied at the bottom row into a total net value.

Customer Statistics

Statistical information for salon clients is displayed in this central part of the Daily Report. In addition to totals at the bottom of the section, a breakdown of information is available for the following metrics:

  • Gender
  • Source
  • Type
  • Age

Discount Details

This section of the report shows all discount types that were used during the timeframe, the total number of discounts used, and the total value of revenue that was discounted.

Hourly Work Details

The last section of the report at the bottom will show a detailed breakdown of employee hours for each staff member. There are also totals listed for services, voids, and other metrics.

Report Calculations

Customer Statistics Section
  • Gender
    • Male: # of Male tickets divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
    • Female: # of Female tickets divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
    • Child: # of Child tickets (Child counts are not factored into Male/Female counts) divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
      • Unknown
      • Ticket: # of tickets where the Gender was not selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
      • Quick Sale:  # of Quick Sale tickets where the Gender was not selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
  • Source 
    • Ticket: # of tickets where each source was selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
    • Quick Sale:  # of Quick Sale tickets where each source was selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
Sources are configured in the Software Settings > Marketing > Customer Lookup & Tracking.
  • Type
    • Recurring: # of tickets where Repeat/Recurring was selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
    • New:  # of tickets where New was selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
      • Unknown
      • Ticket: # of tickets where New/Repeat/Recurring was not selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
      • Quick Sale:  # of Quick Sale tickets where New/Repeat/Recurring was not selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
  • Age
    • Teen: # of tickets where Teen selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
    • Senior: # of tickets where Senior was selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
    • Child: # of tickets where Child was selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
    • Adult: # of tickets where Adult was selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
      • Unknown
      • Ticket: # of tickets where Age was not selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
      • Quick Sale:  # of Quick Sale tickets where Age was not selected divided by Total Customers then multiply result by 100
Ages are configured in Software Settings > Sales > Reports. They can then be applied to new and existing customers through their profile.
