Reconcile Summary Report

Ledger formatted report shows a snapshot of several revenue metrics and other sales information. All numbers are shown as totals for the salon, and not organized by staff member.

Use Cases by Role

  • Salon Owner: This report is good for salon owners who want a quick snapshot of a salons performance for any given timeframe.
  • Salon Manager: Salon managers can utilize this report to check their closeout values over the course of a few days.
  • Salon Employee: Stylists and other frontline salon staff may not have access to this report, but can use it as a reference point when they do.

Data Filters

  • Select Store: Clicking or tapping here will open the interface that allows the user to select the store(s) that will be be used for the report.
  • Select Date: Clicking or tapping into this field will generate a calendar interface for the user to select a single date, or a date range.
  • Generate Report: Clicking or tapping on this button will generate the report based on the other filter criteria.

Metrics Tracked

Upper Left Section
  • Gross Product Sales: The dollar amount of all revenue generated by retail product sales, before taxes and other deductions.
  • Product Discounts: The total discounted revenue from product sales.
  • Product Refunds: The total amount of dollar revenue refunded during the time of the report.
  • Net Product Sales: The total amount of revenue generated by retail product sales, after taxes and other deductions.
  • Gross Service Sales: The total amount of dollar revenue generated by service sales, before taxes and other deductions.
  • Service Discounts: The total discounted revenue from all service sales.
  • Service Refunds: All refunded revenue for service sales is shown here.
  • Net Service Sales: The total dollar revenue of all service sales processed by the salon, after taxes and other deductions.
Middle Left Section
  • Accounting Royalty/Sales: Royalty amounts will be shown by their dollar value in this row of the report.
  • Gift Certs Sold: This row shows both the number and the total dollar value of all gift certificates that were sold during the time of the report.
  • Gift Cards Sold: The number and total dollar amount of all gift cards that have been sold during the time of the report are shown here.
  • Total Net Sales: The total dollar amount of all net sales processed by SuperSalon during the time of the report.
  • Sales Tax: The total dollar amount of taxes collected for each sale is tallied in this row.
  • Total Receipts: The total dollar amount of all receipts processed during the time of the report is shown in this row.
  • Paid Outs: Money that has left the register, but outside of the regular sales process, is tallied by it's dollar value in this row.
  • Deposit Should Be: This row shows the dollar amount of the deposit, based on sales and close out information.
Lower Left Section
  • This lower left section of the report shows closeout information, and will be unique to every salon due to differing payment methods. Totals for each payment method are shown in addition to the numeric value of tenders. Overages and shortages are displayed here as well.
Right Section
  • Product Ticket #: The total number of tickets processed for retail product sales.
  • Service Ticket #: The total number of tickets processed for service sales.
  • Total Ticket #: All tickets for both retail products and services are tallied here.
  • Average Product Ticket: The average amount of dollar revenue generated per ticket with only retail products.
  • Average Service Ticket: The average amount of revenue generated by each service ticket processed by the salon.
  • Average Total Ticket: The average amount of revenue, in dollars, generated by each ticket processed.
  • Product Items #: The total number of retail products sold.
  • Service Item #: The total number of services performed and sold at the location.
  • # Product Items per Product ticket: The average number of retail products sold in each ticket.
  • # Service items per Service Ticket: The average number of salon services sold for each service ticket.
  • Product Discount %: The total percentage of revenue from retail product sales that was discounted.
  • Service Discount %: The total percentage of revenue from salon service sales that was discounted.
  • Gift Card Discounts: The total dollar value of all discounts from gift card transactions.
  • New Customers: The percentage of salon clients who visited during the time of the report for the first time.
  • Return Customers: The percentage of all salon clients are visiting the location during the time of the report who had been there at least once already.
  • Walk In Customers: The percentage of all salon clients who visited the location who were walk ins.
  • Void Tickets #: The total number of tickets that were voided during the time of the report.
  • Void Tickets $: The total dollar value of all tickets that were voided during the time of the report.
  • Redo #: The total number of tickets that were for services that needed to be redone.
  • Other Returns #: The total number of returned items that were neither redos nor refunds.
  • Other Returns $: The total dollar value of all returned items that were neither redos nor refunds rate
  • Product Returns %: The total percentage of products that were returned to the location after purchase.
  • Tips Collected: The total dollar value of all tips collected by staff members during the time of the report.
  • Tips Adjusted: Any tip adjustments will be shown by their dollar value in this area here.
  • Tips Owed: Tips that are still owed to staff members will be shown by their dollar value here.

Report Calculations

  • Average Product Ticket: Net Product Sales divided by Product Ticket #
  • Average Service Ticket: Net Service Sales divided by Service Ticket #
  • Average Total Ticket: Net Service Sales plus Net Product Sales divided by Total Ticket #
  • # Product Items per Product ticket: Product Items # divided by Product Ticket #
  • # Service items per Service Ticket: Service Item # divided by Service Ticket #
  • Product Discount %: ???
  • Service Discount %: ???
  • New Customers: New Customer count divided by Total Customers then multiply that result by 100
  • Return Customers: Return Customer count divided by Total Customers then multiply that result by 100
  • Walk-In Customers: Walk-In Customer count divided by Total Customers then multiply that result by 100
