Discount Usage Report
Location: Reports > Discounts > Discount Usage
Detailed report showing you what discounts were applied to all tickets in a given date range, with basic sales, production, and demographics information for cross reference.
Use Cases by Role
- Salon Owner: Salon owners can utilize this report to gauge the success of their Discount programs in each of their locations.
- Salon Manager: This report is ideal for salon managers who would like to possibly remove unused Discounts.
- Salon Employee: Salon staff find value in this report by seeing how each Discount was applied over a given time span.
Data Filters

- Select Stores: Clicking or tapping here will open the interface that allows the user to select the store(s) that will be be used for the report.
- Select Date Range: Clicking or tapping here will open the calendar interface to allow users to choose a single day, or a date range for the report data.
- Breakdown by Stylist: Filling in this checkbox will organize the data by individual stylist instead of presenting it as a whole.
- Show Service and Product Breakout: This checkbox will determine whether or not there will be a column added that corresponds to services and products.
- Generate Report: Clicking or tapping on this button will retrieve the report data.
Metrics Tracked

- Code: The unique Discount code associated with the given discount.
- Description: The name of the Discount that was used.
- Service Headers
- Service Quantity: The total number of services this Discount was applied to in the given time frame.
- Discount Total $: The total dollar value of the Discount used.
- Product Headers
- Product Quantity: The total number of products this Discount was applied to in the time frame.
- Discount Total: The total dollar value that was Discounted for products.
- Totals Header
- Total Quantity: The total number of both services and products this Discount was applied to in the given time frame.
- Discount Total $: The total dollar value that was associated with this Discount for the given time frame.
- Sale Total $: The total dollar value of the sales associated with the Discount.
- New: The total number of new clients this Discount was applied to in the given time frame.
- Repeat: The total number of return customers who this Discount was applied to in the date range.
- Quick Sale: The total number of Quick Sales this Discount was applied to in the given time frame.
- Unknown: The total number of unknown clients who receive this Discount.
- % New: The percentage value of new clients who have received this particular Discount, in the given time frame.
Report Calculations
% New: Number in the New column for the row divided by the total from New + Repeat + Quick Sale + Unknown and then the result is multiplied by 100
