This section of the Setup menu allows business owners and authorized users of the POS to set up all of the information pertaining to their company or franchise. This topic will show a breakdown of all of the sections of the Company Info submenu.

Company Info Submenu Breakdown

Company Info (Default view)

This section is where the company setup information such as store name, open date, and contact information for the salon is input.

When users first enter the Company info submenu, the default view in the illustrated example above is what is first seen. The Company Setup section allows for a unique "Corporate Store Name" which can be used by franchisees or private owners.

The "Open Date" is usually set to the salon's actual opening, and not necessarily the date in which SuperSalon was installed. The last part of this section, the "Send Reports To" text fields determine the contact information for automated reports are sent physically, or via email.

Deposit Info

Information pertaining to the company's banking system is configured from this section.

Entering bank name, account number, and routing number in these text fields allows SuperSalon to print a deposit slip based on the information in the close out screen each night.

Royalties

Royalty information for products, services, and advertising is located in this section.

Franchisees that pay royalties based on sales must enter the appropriate information into these text fields. If, after a set date, the royalty rates increase, entering the dates and the increased rates will allow SuperSalon to properly calculate them.

Advertising the fund contributions can also be determined with the last two text fields located in the section.

Store Setup

More detailed information about owners, managers, and franchises can be found here.

Though not at all required for SuperSalon to function, this screen allows users to enter general reference information about the location, and will be viewable from the iOffice cloud management system.

Store Hours

The location's hours of operation, as well as midday and evening time starts is input to this section.

SuperSalon tracks and analyzes traffic flow for the daily report and schedule helper based on the hours entered into these text fields. Entering a solid closing time is essential, and should reflect a time when no services are being performed whatsoever.

For example; if the closing time is 6 PM, but an additional customer is taken on and serviced until 7 PM, a closing time of 7:30 PM should be configured. Employee scheduling, as well as appointment scheduling is determined by the times entered into these text fields.
