Weekly snapshot of salon performance for several locations at once, using both sales and demographic metrics.

Use Cases by Role

  • Salon Owner: Salon owners who are responsible for several locations can use this report to quickly see how well they performed over a given week.
  • Salon Manager: Salon managers can use this report to foster a sense of friendly competition with other locations, based on several benchmarks.
  • Salon Employee: Frontline salon staff such as stylists and receptionists can use this report to see how the previous week's sales figures can be compared to the current one.

Data Filters

  • Select Stores: Clicking or tapping here will open the interface that allows the user to select the store(s) that will be be used for the report.
  • Start Day of Week: This drop down menu allows users to select the day of the week from which the report will be calculated.
  • Week Range: Depending on what day of the week was selected as the start day, the Week Range drop down will display the seven-day span for the user to select.
  • Switch to Date Range: Filling in this box will change the date filter to the standard date range selection method for all other reports but this report is designed to be ran one week at a time for accurate results
  • Generate Report: Clicking or tapping on this button will generate the report based on the other filter criteria.

Metrics Tracked

  • Store #: The official name and franchise number (if any) will be displayed in this column corresponding to the individual stores in the report.
  • Service Net $: The net dollar value (after discounts) of all service sales for the date range of the report.
    • % + or -: The percentage (up or down) of net sales compared to the previous week.
  • Retail Net $: The net dollar value (after discounts) of all retail product sales for the date range of the report.
    • % + or -: The percentage (up or down) of net retail product sales compared to the previous week.
  • Retail/Service %: The percentage  of sales that were retail products compared to the service sales
  • Stylist Retail: The total net (after discounts) dollar value of retail products sold by staff members set to the position of "Stylist".
  • Tans: The total net (after discounts) dollar value of services in the "Tanning" category.
    • % + or -: The percentage (up or down)  of net tanning sales compared to the previous week.
  • GC: The total amount of Gift Certificate Sales (not gift cards)
  • Total Volume: The total net (after discounts) dollar value of all revenue gained
    • % + Or -: The percentage (up or down) of net tanning sales compared to the previous week.
  • Men: The total number of men who visited the salon in the given week.
  • Women: The total number of women who visited the salon in the given week.
  • Child: The total number of children who visited the salon in the given week.
  • New: The total number of first time guests will be shown in this column for the given week.
  • Total Client: The total number of all salon customers who visited the location in the given week.
    • % + Or -: The percentage (up or down) of total clients compared to the previous week.
  • Totals: Each column will have its respective totals displayed at the bottom of the report.

Report Calculations

Retail / Service %: Retail Net $ divided by Service Net $ and then multiply that result by 100.

Total Volume: Service Net $ + Retail Net $ + GC
