Monthly Sales Report
Location: Reports > Sales > Monthly Sales
Spreadsheet formatted report that shows the daily performance for each day of a given month.
Use Cases by Role
- Salon Owner: Salon owners can find value in this report due to its simple breakdown of important business metrics by each section.
- Salon Manager: Salon managers can reference this report for researching the top services performed at their location.
- Salon Employee: Stylists and other salon staff can use this report to see how their sales performance has been over a given month.
Data Filters

- Select Stores: Clicking or tapping here will open the interface that allows the user to select the store(s) that will be be used for the report.
- Month and Year: These two drop-down menus enable users to select the month and year for the sampling of the report.
- Switch to Date Range: Filling in this box with a check will open a traditional calendar interface for users to select a customized date range.
- Generate Report: Clicking or tapping on this button will generate the report based on the other filter criteria.
Metrics Tracked

Top 10 Services: This top section of the report shows a daily breakdown, in dollars, of the 10 most widely used services for the month or given date range. Totals are also shown at the bottom row.
Monthly Product Sales: Each day of the month will also have a row for product sales with the following metrics assigned as columns:
- Qty: Quantity
- Gross $: Gross Dollar Revenue
- Discount $: Discounted Revenue
- Net $: Net Dollar Revenue
- Discounts $: Number of Discounts
- Discounts %: Percentage of Discounts
- All Totals
Top Discounts: This area shows a daily breakdown of all discounts used along with their dollar values. A grand total is displayed in the very bottom row of this section.
Monthly Paid Ins/Paid Outs: The bottom section of this report shows a daily breakdown of all paid ins and paid outs with the following metrics associated with them:
- Qty: Quantity
- Gross $: Gross Dollar Revenue
- Discount $: Discounted Revenue
- Net $: Net Dollar Revenue
- Discounts $: Number of Discounts
- Discounts %: Percentage of Discounts
- All Totals
Report Calculations
Discount %: Take the Discount # for the day you are looking at and divide it by the number for the Totals in the same column and then multiply that by 100.
