SMS On Demand
Along with a number of prioritized bug fixes, we made a few quick adjustments to the new SMS On Demand feature, adding a read-only pop up to the wait/serve screen showing the user the message that’s about to be sent to the customer.
TSYS Credit Card Processing
TSYS users can now disable the requirement for electronic signatures at check out, in an effort to help stop the spread of covid19 through less physical contact with publicly used devices. This can be done through Setup > Software Settings > Hardware > Payment Processor under the TSYS section via the setting labeled “Ask for signature on terminal”. This setting is only available for salon’s processing through TSYS.
Salons processing with TSYS can now disable the tip prompt through the credit card terminal at checkout, to accommodate tip-less business models and third party tipping software services. This can be done through Setup > Software Settings > Hardware > Payment Processor under the TSYS section via the setting labeled “Prompt for tips”. This setting is also only available for salon’s processing through TSYS.
The SMS On Demand text field is now read-only.
The On Demand SMS message now displays the most recent changes made to it in settings.
If a customer changes their cell phone number and their profile is then updated on SuperSalon at a store using the SMS feature, the customer will now receive an opt-in message.
The electronic signature requirement for customers paying through TSYS can now be disabled in software settings.
The tips prompt on the credit card terminal for TSYS users can now be toggled off in software settings.
Various bug fixes and minor performance enhancements.
