Services Sales Report

Location: Reports > Services > Service Sales

Presents all service sales for a location within the given date range, and organizes them by both category and individual service.

Use Cases by Role

• Salon Owner: Salon owners can utilize this report to review the most successful services being sold at the location.
• Salon Manager: This report can be referenced to by salon managers who want to keep tabs on service sale revenue.
• Salon Employee: Stylists and other frontline salon staff can reference this report to gauge their salons performance when it comes to service sales.

Data Filters

• Select Stores: Clicking or tapping here will open the interface that allows the user to select the store(s) that will be be used for the report.
• Enter A Date Range: Clicking or tapping into this field will generate a calendar interface for the user to select a single date, or a date range.
• Sort: The two drop-down menus located here enable users to sort the report results by the following metrics in ascending or descending order:
  • Code (Default)
  • Description
  • Category
  • Sold
  • Gross $
  • #Discount
  • Discount $
  • #Refund
  • Refund $
  • Net
  • #Void
  • Void $
• Generate Report: Clicking or tapping on this button will generate the report based on the other filter criteria.

Metrics Tracked

Sales by Category

• Category: The name of the service category occupying the row.
• Sold: The number of services sold under this category in the timeframe of the report.
• Gross $: The gross amount of revenue generated from sales in this service category.
• #Discount: The total number of discounts utilized during the sales in this service category.
• Discount $: The total dollar value of all discounts applied to services in this category.
• #Refund: The total number of refunds processed for services in this category.
• Refund $: The total dollar value of all refunds processed from services in this category.
• Net $: The total net dollar value of all service sales from services in this category.
• #Void: The total number of voided tickets for services in this category.
• Void $: The total dollar value of all voided tickets carrying services from this category.
• Total: The bottom row of this section shows totals for all columns.

Sales by Service

• Code: The unique numeric code associated with the service.
• Description: The name of the service as it appears in SuperSalon.
• Category: The greater category to which the service belongs.
• Sold: The number of times this service was sold in the timeframe of the report.
• Gross $: The gross dollar amount of revenue generated by selling the service.
• #Discount: The total number of discounts applied to the service during the time of the report.
• Discount $: The total dollar value of all discounts applied to the service.
• #Refund: The total number of instances this service was refunded during the time of the report.
• Refund $: The total dollar value of all refunds processed for this service.
• Net $: The total net dollar amount of revenue generated from sales of this service.
• #Void: The total number of times this service appeared on the voided ticket.
• Void $: The total dollar value of all voided tickets with this service attached to it.
