Price Groups

Price Groups are a feature of SuperSalon that allow business owners to assign different prices to their Services, based on the employees who are performing the task.

Applications for this feature can include setting a higher or lower price depending on individual staff members’ popularity of requests, or other scenarios.

Creating a New Price Group

Step One: From the Services submenu of the Manager menu, click or tap on the “Price Groups” button in the upper right.

Step Two: The illustrated example below shows that SuperSalon currently has no Price Groups configured. To begin, click or tap on the “Add Price Groups” button.

Step Three: Click or tap on the “Add Group” button.

Step Four: Create a unique name for the Price Group, as well as an easily referenced code. When finished, click or tap on the “Save” button.

Step Five: When finished, the new Price Group will appear in the menu, and will be available for editing.

Editing Prices for the Groups

Step One: With the new Price Group configured, the prices for individual Services can then be assigned to them. Click or tap on the “Edit Prices” button to begin.

Step Two: Now the user can assign the special prices the associated Price Groups to each Service. The illustrated example shows that only three services will carry the special price within this Group.

Assigning a Price Group to an Employee

Step One: From inside the individual staff members Employee Profile, click or tap on the “Price Group” button.

Step Two: Click or tap on the Price Group to be assigned to this staff member.

Step Three: The new Price Group is assigned to this employee, so the next step is to click or tap on the “Save” button.

Step Four: Going back into our Price Groups Menu of the Services submenu, we see that we now have one employee assigned to this Price Group.

Adding Price Group Exceptions

Exceptions add another layer of price customization by allowing users to edit the prices of individuals within a group. These Exceptions then take precedence over the standing Price Group, and will reflect as such in the Checkout screen.

Step One: From inside the individual staff members Employee Profile, click or tap on the “Price Group” button.

Step Two: Now the user can assign the special prices the associated Price Groups to each Service. The illustrated example shows that only three services will carry the special price within this Group.

Step Three: Using the prices to the left as a guide, individual prices can then be configured, as shown in the example below.
