Multi-Store Monthly Overview

Location: Reports > Multi-Store > Monthly Overview

Displays several salons in a single column, and multiple important revenue numbers for each one. Data is also compared to the previous year in addition to the current year to date.

Use Cases by Role

• Salon Owner: This is another great “meeting report” due to its ability to gauge revenue performance for several locations, and an easy to read format.
• Salon Manager: Salon managers can utilize this report to motivate their teams to outperform themselves from the previous year.
• Salon Employee: Front line salon staff such as stylists and receptionists find value in this report due to its ability to quickly compare important metrics from the previous year.

Data Filters

• Select Stores: Clicking or tapping here will open the interface that allows the user to select the store(s) that will be be used for the report.
• Month and Year: This pair of drop-down menus allows the user to configure the exact month and year for the report.
• Switch to date Range: Filling in this box with a check will generate the traditional date range interface available for most other reports.
• Generate Report: Clicking or tapping on this button will generate the report based on the other filter criteria.

Metrics Tracked

• Store #: This column will display all of the requested stores, along with their unique store numbers.
• Service Net $: The total net revenue generated from service sales for the given month of the report.
  • % + Or -: This column will show the percentage value of net service revenue compared to the previous year to date.
• Retail Net $: The total net revenue generated by retail product sales in the given month of the report.
  • % + Or -: This column will show the percentage value of net retail product revenue compared to the previous year to date.
• Retail/Service %: The percentage value of retail sales compared with service sales over the given month.
• Tans: This column will display the total revenue generated by tanning facilities at the location, in the given month.
  • % + Or -: This column will show the percentage value of tanning revenue compared to the previous year to date.
• GC: The total amount of Gift Card revenue received by the location in the given month of the report.
• Total Volume: The total dollar value of the Service Net, Retail Net, and other columns previously mentioned.
  • % + Or -: The total percentage value of increase or decrease, compared to the previous year to date.
• Sales Tax: The total sum of tax dollars received by the location in the given month.
• Paid Outs: The total dollar value of all Paid Outs performed by the location in the given month of the report.
• Over/Short: This column presents the total register overage or shortage, in dollars, for the given month.
• Current Year to Date $: The total amount of revenue received by the location in the given month for the year so far.
• Previous Year to Date $: This column will show the total dollar value of all revenue that was gained by the location during the same time in the previous year.
  • % + Or -: This percentage value represents the increase or decrease of total revenue generated between the current year and the previous one.
• Totals: All totals are tabulated on the bottom row for each column.
